Christmas Security in Seribu Islands will Focus on Homestay

Ahead christmas and new year’s eve celebration, Seribu Island Regency will focus on homestay guarding. Homestay owner should report to urban village in case of homestay rented or used for religious activities.

This is due to no church in Seribu Islands, so the guarding switch to homestay rented by church community

Seribu Island Vice Regent, Muhammad Anwar stated homestay owner should report their homestay’s use to RT/RW caretaker and urban village for special guarding.

“This is due to no church in Seribu Islands, so the guarding switch to homestay rented by church community,” he uttered, Wednesday (12/9).

Anwar continued such guard is about environment issue. As concerning homestay designation is not for worship activity but in order to guarantee its citizen to feel safe when worshipping.

“Urban village head must collect the data which homestays are used for worship activity,” he uttered.

In addition, Seribu Islands Regency will conduct comprehensive security ahead chirstmas and new year’s eve with all components yet mass organizations also related sub-dept. However, there also main posts that will be set in Pramuka and Untung Jawa Island.
